Artemio and his young family (wife Esther and infant daughter) were staying at Seattle Cancer Care Alliance while undergoing treatment for leukemia. The Kyle Charvat Foundation played an important role by not only providing funding for travel and day-to-day expenses, but we also helped Artemio’s family identify available programs that they qualified for. Once again, KCF’s resident angel, Kelly Richards, personally went above the call of duty to get access to basic healthcare services for Artemio and Esther’s daughter previously unrealized. This included well-baby examinations and immunizations as well as food and diaper supplies.
